The Cowboys went on the road last week in ASC action and came away with a split...The Cowboys rolled over Sul Ross State in the first half and never looked back as they got their third straight conference victory...The Cowboys brought that 3-game winning streak to Brownwood to battle Howard Payne but saw their streak end with a strong second half by HPU...The Cowboys will host Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday and the Cowboys are looking to snap a skid that has ssen HSU lose 4-of-5 to the Crusaders...HSU has not lost a home game yet this year, going 5-0 at the Mabee Comlex...The Crusaders have a 9-2 record in the conference and are tied for the ASC West lead with Howard Payne...They are currently riding a four-game winning streak ...Zach Pinkelman has gotten hot from the field improving his scoring average four points since conference play started. He poured in 26 and 25 points in each of the two wins over Concordia last year...Concordia is currently on a five-game losing streak and has gone winless in their four road games so far this year.
