Final Stats

CLINTON, Miss. - Hardin-Simmons' men's basketball team dropped its fourth straight game, falling 80-63 to Mississippi College, Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference action in Clinton, Miss.

The Choctaws used its balanced attack that saw nine players score six or more points. The Cowboys jumped to an 8-2 lead, but Mississippi College took a 9-8 lead at the 13:42 mark and never trailed the rest of the game.

HSU was led by Mardochee Jean, who scored 21 points and hauled in 12 rebounds. Zach Pickelman added 18 points.

The loss dropped the Cowboys to 4-6 on the year and 3-4 in ASC play. Mississippi College improved to 7-1 overall and 6-1 in league play. HSU is off for the Christmas break.
