Dec. 16, 2002 ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's basketball team dropped a 62-53 decision to UT Dallas in American Southwest Conference Crossover action, Monday afternoon at the Mabee Complex. The Cowboys trailed early 18-6 but mounted a comeback to tie the game at 20. Both teams fought pretty close until the end of the game when the Comets pulled away at the free throw line. Jordan Clower led three Cowboys in double figures with 14. Bryan Conover and Carl Thompson had 12 and 10 points respectively. The game extended the Cowboys (2-5) losing streak to five. UT Dallas improved to 1-5 on the season. HSU will return to action Jan. 2 at East Texas Baptist. |
