Final Stats

BROWNWOOD, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's basketball team dropped its season finale, 93-65 at Howard Payne, Saturday afternoon. The game ended the career's of HSU's seniors Jordan Clower, Bryan Conover and Jason Eaker.

The Yellowjackets moved out to a 23-7 lead and were able to keep the Cowboys away the rest of the game. HSU cut the deficit to as little as five in the second half, before the Jackets defensive pressure took over.

Jordan Clower led the Cowboys with 17 points and Weston Ryon had his third straight double-digit game with 13. Justin Foster led HPU with 28 points and 12 rebounds in his last game in a HPU uniform. Benny West had 17 points, eight assists and 11 steals.

Hardin-Simmons closes its season with a 5-20 record and a 2-12 mark in ASC play. Howard Payne, the preseason conference favorite, finished at 17-8 and 10-4 in the league.
