Jan. 18, 2003 AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's basketball dropped another close game as they fell 77-69 to Concordia-Austin, Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference West Division play at the Woltman Gym in Austin. The Cowboys held a 15-point lead in the second half before the Tornados went on a 26-7 run over a seven-minute stretch. Jordan Clower led the Cowboys with 19 points. Bryan Conover had 14 and Matt Autry added 13. Patrick Oliver led the Tornados with 19 points. HSU fell to 3-11 with the loss and 0-3 in conference play. Concordia improved to 3-12 and 3-0 in ASC West play. The Cowboys will return to action Thursday against conference leader Sul Ross State. |
