ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons baseball facility is getting a renovation to the infield that will include new grass and a laser grade that will take away the huge lip that has accumulated around the infield over years of wear and tear.

The work which began on August 4 is slated to be complete by the time the Cowboys hit the field for fall practice. The new infield will help Hunter Field maintain its status as one of the top playing surfaces in all of Division III baseball.
