ABILENE, Texas - Dalton Rucker and Brad Coleman were named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-West Region teams as selected by the coaches in the region.

Sophomore lefthander Dalton Rucker, who was the ASC West Pitcher of the Year, was named to the second team after posting an 8-3 record with a 2.90 ERA in 83.2 innings of work. He won his last nine starts of the season for the Cowboys.

Brad Coleman was named to the third team as a third baseman. The junior out of Abilene Cooper hit .376 on the year with three home runs and 39 RBIs. He led the ASC West with a .486 batting average in conference play.

HSU finished the year with a 28-17 record and advanced to the semifinals of the American Southwest Conference Tournament. Hsu returns all but two players for next season and should be one of the favorites to win the ASC West next year.
