ABILENE, Texas - With the anticipated heavy rains on Thursday and Friday in the Abilene area, Hardin-Simmons and Louisiana College have decided to move back its American Southwest Conference Championship Series to Saturday and Sunday.

The two teams were scheduled to play at 4 p.m. Friday and now will play Game 1 at 4 p.m. on Saturday. The second game will be at 1 p.m. Sunday with an if necessary game to follow.

HSU is the second seed out of the West Division and has a 25-15 record. Louisiana College is 18-22 on the year and the third seed out of the East Division.

The winner of the series will advance to the ASC Championship Tournament next week at a site to be determined by this weekends' series.
