ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' baseball team will host Schreiner in American Southwest Conference action this weekend at John J. Hunter Field.

The two teams will first meet Friday at 7 p.m. for a full nine inning game and then play a conference doubleheader on Senior Day, Saturday starting at 1 p.m.

The Cowboys are 16-17 overall and 9-12 in ASC action while the Mountaineers are 7-24 overall and 4-14 in ASC play.

Saturday will mark the culmination of four seniors and one junior Cowboy careers. Seniors John Schlaffer, Chuy Rodriguez, Ryan Devere, and Eric Alvarez join junior Seth Gandy in their last time playing on Hunter Field. These gentlemen have a combined total of 144 out of the 319 team hits on the year and a combined total of 16 out of the 25 team home runs on the year. Schlaffer leads the Cowboys with a .388 batting average and six home runs on the year while Rodriguez leads with 13 doubles on the year.
