ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' baseball team will travel to Belton to take on Mary Hardin-Baylor in American Southwest Conference action this weekend.

The two teams will square off Friday at 2 p.m. and then play a conference doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. You can catch every exciting minute of Cowboys baseball action live on KAGT 90.5 starting Friday at 1:45 p.m.

The Cowboys are 14-15 overall and 7-11 in ASC action while the Crusaders are 16-13 overall and 10-8 in ASC play.

HSU is coming off of a 5-3 win over Trinity on Tuesday. The Cowboys jumped to the lead after scoring four runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning. Catcher Seth Gandy had his second home run on the year. Craig Foreman (2-5) pitched a complete nine inning game and struck out six Tigers.

John Schlaffer leads the Cowboys with a .410 batting average and six home runs on the year.
