ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' baseball team will travel to Alpine to take on Sul Ross in American Southwest Conference action this weekend.

The two teams will square off Friday at 7 p.m. and then play a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. HSU is 8-9 overall and 4-5 in ASC action and SRSU is 4-17 overall and 2-7 in ASC play.

HSU is coming off of a 15-9 loss from Division II Tarleton State on Tuesday night. Josh Anderlohr led the Cowboy offense with two home runs. Chuy Rodriguez (1-1) picked up the loss for the Cowboys.

John Schlaffer leads the team with six home runs and 24 RBIs on the year.
