ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons baseball team will host Wayland Baptist Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hunter Field.

Senior second baseman John Schlaffer leads the Cowboys offensive attack with a .462 batting average. He has two home runs and 11 runs batted in. Junior first baseman Andy Harrington has a pair of home runs for the Cowboys this season.

Due to weather problems early in the season the Cowboys will use several different pitchers on Tuesday, with either Blake Wallace or Chuy Rodriguez getting the start.

HSU is 2-4 overall and 1-2 in American Southwest Conference action and Wayland Baptist is 11-6 overall.
