Cowboys Fall To 11-0

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' baseball team could not solve Trinity freshman Briiton Horn as he allowed only two singles and struck out 10 in eight innings as the Cowboys fell 11-0 Wednesday afternoon in San Antonio.

Michael Simpson had an infield single in the fifth inning and Taylor Lamar added a single to give the Cowboys their only two hits. The Cowboys used seven different pitchers in the game. The Cowboys had planned to split the game up as a bullpen day.

Trinity got on the board with a single run in the third. Dalton Rucker gave up a run on three hits to get the loss for the Cowboys.

Hardin-Simmons fell to 22-15 on the year and Trinity improved to 30-10. The Cowboys host Sul Ross State this weekend.
