RICHARDSON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' baseball team dropped a nonconference doubleheader to UT-Dallas 7-3 and 11-10, Saturday afternoon at Comet Field in Richardson.

HSU scored single runs in each of the last three innings of the seven-inning game, but left seven runners on base in those three innings. Danny Ruth had three hits for the Cowboys and Brad Coleman added two hits as HSU managed just seven hits in the game.

In the nightcap, UTD scored nine runs in two and one-third innings off of starter Jeff Walker.
