Cowboys Lose To Oklahoma Baptist, 4-2



Josh Anderlohr Had Two Hits in his Cowboy Debut

Hardin-Simmons' baseball team dropped a tough 4-2 decision to Lubbock Christian Saturday afternoon at Hunter Field.

Freshman Josh Anderlohr had a pair of hits in his Hardin-Simmons debut to lead the Cowboys four-hit attack.

Kyle Tabor took the loss on the mound, despite giving up just six hits and two earned runs in seven innings of work. He struck out three. Kenny Durost picked up the win with eight innings of three-hit ball. He struck out nine.

The Cowboys are now 0-2 on the season, while Lubbock Christian improved to 6-7.

HSU returns to action Tuesday against Austin College at 6 p.m. at Hunter Field.
