Expected to be one of the Cowboys' leading hitters and could contend for All-ASC and All-American accolades as a senior. He will make the move from right field to center field in 2008. 2007: Started 41 games and was named second-team All-ASC West. Hit .375 with 10 doubles, four home runs and 27 RBI's. 2006: Hit .322 with one home run and 20 RBIs and also had 30 runs scored. Had six stolen bases. Named to the All-Tournament team at the ASC Tournament. 2005: Appeared in 31 games and 23 starts as a freshman for the Cowboys. Hit .275 with 91 at-bats. Had 23 runs scored with 25 hits. Sixth on the team with13 walks. Was a perfect 3-3 for stolen bases. Had a three RBI performance in a game against Sul Ross State on March 12. Also recorded a pair of RBIs in games against Friends and Howard Payne. High School: Was a standout player at Cleburne High School.
